Recipe of Kheema Pav

Kheema Pav

Ingredients:
500 g Minced mutton
100-120 g refined oil
3-4 g black cardamom
1 bayleaf
10-12 g chopped green chillies, ginger, onions
10-15 g of Chilly Milly Masala/Gavran Maratha Masala
10-12 g of coriander powder, roasted cumin powder
15 g of red chilly paste
5 g, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, fennel powder, Garam Masala
40 g chopped tomatoes (optional)
25 g of potato cubes, green peas, chopped coriander leaves and butter
6-8 loaves of Pav
1 lemon

Method:
Fry black cardamom, cinnamon sticks and bayleaf in an handi for a minute. Add chopped ginger, green chillies, onions and ginger garlic paste and stir will the onion becomes tender. Add turmeric powder, Chilly Milly Masala/Gavran (according to the spiciness required as Gavran is spicier than Chilly Milly) , red chilly paste, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, and fennel powder and again stir well.
Mix chopped tomatoes (optional) and salt to taste. Let the tomatoes blend before adding minced mutton. Stir well. After mixing well add boiling water to the flavored mined meat. Add potatoes (cubes), green peas and Garam Masala and let the meat cook. Garnish it later with chopped coriander and slice of lemon. Serve it hot with Pav which are heated with butter.

Preparation Time: 15-20 mins
Cooking Time: 20-30 mins
Serves: 3-4
